RECORDING OUR JOURNEY

Obviously we do not bring all this gear with us as each outing has its own capture list. This is simply a comprehensive list of gear we choose from.

There have been a lot of failed items that did not serve the purpose we hoped they would. I have left these items unlisted because there was little wrong with them, they just did not work for us.

It is important to find what functions for the various situations we find ourselves navigating. The following are products that contribute to our needs.

Weight, size, durability, and versatility are typical top priorities that are part of our decision of whether we can or are willing to carry an item. Another factor for me is the consideration of enhancement. Will what I carry make our journey more enjoyable. Having an item that is difficult to use and carry turns it into clutter.

Fujifilm cameras are foremost in my hands. At the time of this writing the X-T5 is primary camera for stills and video. Insta360 X3 and Hero9 Black are the action cameras I use.
